?? it's #NEDAwareness week and I wanted to share with you all some #RecoveryHeroes stories that have inspired me. And hopefully will shed light on Eating Disorder awareness & help those who are in recovery to know there is hope & you are enough...

"In my freshman year in college I gained 25 pounds without even noticing... It was not until my 18th birthday that I realized I was the biggest I had ever been. And this is where all my obsession began... For 5 years I struggled with bulimia, the most horrible years of my life that even affect me now that I am recovered. I still know the calories of each food, I still feel guilty when I eat unhealthy foods, but I do not purge anymore. I wish someone had kept me from having an eating disorder, I wish I never had bulimia.
But, reality is that I went through it and I know it feels like hell. This is why I am so thankful with my #RecoveryHero Daniel, my boyfriend, who has been by my side for the last three years, a very important phase of recovery and self acceptance. He encourages me to maintain healthy habits and specially to work in my self confidence and self love. I wouldn't be who I am today without his love and support." .
