I'm about ready to give up. I wonder if all this work is truly worth it. For the last 3 years, my mom and I have worked almost every waking hour on this important cause as a volunteer. We have lost all forms of income for speaking out about this important cause. No one seems to want to hire a cat that speaks out against declawing &exposes the very, dark, unethical, and often evil side of the veterinary profe$$ion when it comes to declawing. Even @purina /@friskies didn't even want to keep me on as a part time influencer. ? We are drained, disheartened, weary, & tired of this fight. It seems like no matter what we do, the unethical pro-declaw vets &vet assoc, just keep winning, so many cats are being harmed & unnecessarily mutilated for the sake of a sofa and greed. Then when I need my friends the most, they are nowhere to be found. I have around 360,000 followers on social media & 4700 awesome people have signed my Purina petition & 2200 have signed the Mars, Incorporated petition. Thank you to those who truly want to help end declawing. Your signature will make a difference & you are special human beings. If we can get lots more signatures, we may be able to get these large, influential companies to do the right thing & help us end declawing. The sad truth is that they won't listen until we have huge amount of support on these petitions. Positive change has come about from petitions with thousands of people supporting them. It takes 2 minutes of your time and if ALL of you speak out and sign these, we may someday soon be successful in inspiring the leaders at these companies to help the innocent cats of America who are being declawed. Around 5000 cats A DAY are declawed in America. Isn't that simply appalling? Doesn't that make you sad and angry? ALL these cats will suffer some sort of negative consequence from their declaws for a LIFETIME!
