Gus woke up with some pretty good sneezing and runny eyes today. Obviously I'm treating him with an abundance of caution and I've already talked to his cardiologist. He's absolutely normal, eating, drinking, hollering . His doctor says that those symptoms don't sound heart related, and that it might be a feline herpes outbreak, which can be caused by stress. Gus has never been treated for herpes but as we all know Jesse has it (Gary actually does too) so I would not be surprised at all. I'm now on the lookout for any abnormal behavior and he will be going in to the vet if I see any. #thanksobama
