Went for lunch with #NYU #Professor #ArnieBaskin and bumped into #George from the world famous #CozySoupNBurger! We talked about how back in the day as a freshman @nyutisch when I was half the size I am now, I went into Cozy and met #George and explained that because it was close to my dormitory I was going to be eating there often and I needed to have a tab. I said I would have to use any money I had for making my films and I wouldn't be able to pay for my favorite #TexasCheeseBurgers and that if he agreed to give me credit he would be investing in my future! I also told George that once I became successful and directed my first feature film I would pay them back 3x's whatever the total bill was! He agreed to the deal and even catered some of my student films with free coffee for the crew. I appreciate George and the owners of Cozy #Mike and #George for believing in me and I'm glad that nothing has changed in 30 years! #Gratitude
