Day 7 of #motherhoodismagic and I would like to dedicate today to calming an anxious mind. As a mama I find myself running through all the things I need to accomplish during my baby's nap. Laundry, emails, posts, cleaning the house... So as I am trying to get her/him down I sometimes feel anxious or stressed knowing I have things to do... I think my babies can feel that energy and it makes it harder for them to go to sleep. So I want to challenge myself to be mindful of this and make a conscious effort to ease them into their sleep with calm energy.. through breath or song or a book .. whatever calms your mind.
