I had a wedding to attend tonight so I wore this Kimono that was handed down from my mother which she wore in her wedding 43 years ago. (Posting more on stories) Kimono is the most high maintenance thing to own but I guess that's what makes it so special. The way you walk in it, wear and to fold and store the Kimono is also something you need to learn and train. The Kanzashi (hair accessory) was also handed down from my mother. I'm wondering in other counties, what are the things your mother would hand down to you? Would love to know!
