(Shot with Canon 1D X + my Canon 70–200 f2.8L IS II lens, at 200mm/f2.8, using the Brenizer Method (otherwise known as a Bokeh Panorama), this image becomes the equivalent of a 110mm at f1.5. This bokeh panorama contains ~25 images.)

Brenizer Method: It’s the same principle as a typical panorama, except instead of shooting wide angle, with as much depth-of-field as possible, it’s shot with a longer focal length, with as shallow a DOF as possible. The end result (dependent on final image) can mimic the look of a large format photographic system. The method increases the effective sensor size of the camera, much like the larger negatives in medium and large format photography.
