It's no secret that earthy browns are among my favorite ink colors and Pelikan's new Smoky Quartz certainly lives up to its stature as the Edelstein Ink Of The Year. Its mesmerizing hues beckon a walk in the woods where the old sage oaks gather and where the river hums with the unraveling new life of springtime. I think I'll pack up some of these essentials and find a good spot outside where I can journal the musings of new seasons and old dreams.
