Betsy King won six major championships and 34 titles in all, was player of the year three times and won two scoring titles, and was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1995! She is an inspiration to so many... especially to us LPGA players!
In 2007, she founded @golfforeafrica following a trip with World Vision to Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, & Zambia. Over the last decade, the foundation has built 220 wells to deliver clean water to desperate African villages! This year she personally committed to donate $1.3 million dollars to the cause, 100,000 annually until she meets this pledge! The foundation also pledged to join World Visions efforts by contributing $10 million over the next five years!
