You don't have to be a parent to feel empathy for Peta and Hamish Murchison, mommy & daddy to Mia and Toby. Our children are supposed to outlive US but heartbreakingly, the realities of 'things' like war and incurable diseases challenge that notion on a day to day basis. Mia suffers from Batten Disease. Today I ask you to be a part of helping this mom and dad raise awareness of this fatal degenerative genetic disease. Não têm de ser pais para sentir empatia pela Peta e o Hamish Murchison, mamã e papá de Mia e Toby. Os nossos filhos deveriam sobreviver-nos mas tristemente, a realidade de 'coisas' como a guerra e as doenças incuráveis desafiam essa noção. A Mia sofre da doença de Batten. Hoje peço-vos que ajudem esta mãe e este pai a chamar atenção para esta doença fatal degenerativa e genética.
