The rainy days of spring are among my favorite. Where winter is gently washed off with the promise of blooms germinating. These are the spaces I love to write or create freely in, unfussed and simply basking in the little movements between my hand and the pen. Lately I've been having fun experimenting with different penmanship styles using the 1.9mm Christoph music nib on the @franklinchristoph Model 31 Omnis Black & Red fountain pen inked with Sweet Maroon (swipe left for a close up of the pen and ink shading). And a very pleasant discovery -- my Hobonichi Cousin fits perfectly in their A5 Leather Zippered Padfolio which also has a pen holder (that comfortably suits bigger models such as the 31) so I can have all my essentials with me in one when traveling light. •
