Damn dog. Steven Hill leaving @BET? This is end of an era man. Had the pleasure of interviewing this cat on @QLS in Jan and walked away learning so much I never knew about the industry. Most important he was a pure music lover. Like still got joy from it. I'm a dude so immersed in music I can't even pull myself away from it to start a family. I've drowned in it so much I rarely get "WOW" moments because I'm so numb to it. I still love it. It's just rare to get that joy. That's why it's so cool when you always see these camera cuts to Stephen dancing in the audience and singing along showing genuine excitement. Even off camera. Once #ThePolice played a rare one off 11am show at #WhiskeyAGoGo for the press: The press was the press. The only 6 dudes losing our minds in the mosh pit were @FallOutBoy @stephengranthill & me like losing our minds like no one else was watching. Jumping up and down I was like "the hell you doing here?! You're "a suit""---ha ha big mistake. He can out trivia/out smart the best of music execs. Wishing Steven Hill the best of success in his next venture (praying he runs Prince's estate, or Soul Train next) ✊?✊?✊?✊?✊?
