・・・Courtesy post for the amazing @roadogs !Everyone meet Kongo. Kongo was posted as Free to Good Home on Craigslist and one of Road Dogs' followers asked if I could help. Since he was unfixed, we were obviously worried about him getting into the wrong hands. The owner had been given to him at 6 months old by the breeder as he has a congenital issue with his back legs. Since they'd never had a Neo before, as he grew, they got a bit overwhelmed and couldn't afford to take care of him.  He was raised in a loving family with young kids so he is the sweetest boy. Still a puppy at 1.5 years. We did a CTScan to see if he is a candidate for surgery but the orthopedic specialist basically said he would need two complicated surgeries would be needed and that any significant improvement can't be guaranteed. The risks outweigh the benefits so we are not putting him through it. He is not very active but loves to go in the car and potter around in the park for a bit.
