Shame on the unethical folks in the veterinary profession who promoted declawing back in the day and it caught on like wildfire. ?????Shame on them for not doing studies on this mutilating procedure before these evil people started promoting it for cats. Shame on declawing veterinarians who don't educate cat owners on how harmful this inhumane procedure is for their cats. Shame on ALL vets who declaw cats! There is NO EXCUSE when there are ALWAYS humane alternatives! Shame on cat owners for not doing a simple google search to educate themselves about how bad declawing is for their cat's health and long term well being.??? I'm tired of this folks. Shame on American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) for allowing declawing at their "Cat Friendly" practices! Shame on Cornell Feline Health Center for saying they are a leader in pet health and not condemning declawing and misusing and lying about Rhoda Hogan's $125,000 bequest and declawing cats at their small animal hospital. Shame on @purina for not helping us educate cat owners like this on WHY THEIR CATS NEED THEIR TOE BONES AND CLAWS AND for making millions of dollars each year from declawing from the sale of their Yesterday's News cat litter that all the declawing vets sell and recommend.
