As we all look for ways to channel our activism and change the landscape of those in power in Washington, we know diversity in Congress is key. Women make up less than 20% of Congress. As a young Latina woman, Alejandra Campoverdi has precisely the kind of energy that DC needs. Alejandra is running for the 34th district of Congress in a special primary election on April 4th. This district includes Highland Park, Boyle Heights, Cypress Park, Eagle Rock, Downtown, Little Tokyo, Chinatown, Koreatown, Mt. Washington, Montecito Heights and more. In Alejandra, there is an opportunity to have a brilliant representative voice in Congress.
