At #RonVanLieu 's retirement party. Ron was our Master Acting teacher at NYU before he became Chair of the Yale School of Drama. @mahershalaali thanked him when he received his Oscar this year. Ron has changed the lives of hundreds of artists over the past 40 years, and I am so grateful for my 3 years with him. Daniel and I did a scene from Romeo & Juliet in his class in our 2nd year, and our son is named Roman. I call him Rom-ay-o the Brazilian pronunciation of Roman, spelled Romeo. We would never have had the miracle of our son if Ron hadn't chosen us to be in the class. 2 of 15. Life changing. Hearing his students tell stories about Ron made us laugh so hard and bask in the glow of this Beloved man and Yoda. Congratulations Ron ❤️#grateful
