Zimba waiting for his bloodtest result.
Can happily tell you it was only slightly higher (creatinine and urea) than last time. He has not lost any weight.
This guy has been my best friend for almost 18 (eighteen!!) years. We've been through so much together. Both ups and downs.

He was abandoned by his mother and found in a stable. We brought him home and gave him such a wonderful life.
.
If I had to describe him in one word, it would be FAITHFUL.
He walked me to my former job eeeeeeevery day. And sat outside and waited (no matter what the weather was) for 8-12 hours. (Have U seen the movie Hachi: A Dog's Tale??) He was so loved by all the staff. And became the company mascot.

He has stage 3 kidney disease (4 being the worst). A disease that is progressive therefore not curable.
The only thing we can do is try slow down the progression. And we are doing everything we can.

He has always been an outdoorcat -with (a lot of) rules!!! For example never spend the nights outside. But all that changed 2 years ago when he was attacked by an agressive cat and we almost lost him. He had a surgery, and it was a long long way back. And it was hard. But he NEVER gave up. He is so amazing. Now he is an indoorcat who walks in a leash. Who knew that?
