本日は展開中の「ポーター タンゴブラック」シリーズより、小物アイテムをご紹介いたします。
吉田カバン70周年を記念して2005年に発表され、今なお根強い人気を誇るシリーズです。
京丹後地方の伝統的な織物「丹後ちりめん」のちりめん織りと平織リを交互にし、黒一色でありながらも織りによってボーダー柄を表現したオリジナルの素材を使用しています。
ちりめんは生地全面の凹凸状のシボが最大の特徴で、正装用の生地としても多く使われるため「黒」の色にも強くこだわり、フォーマルブラックと言われる深みのある黒色に染めています。
また、レーザー彫刻によって柄を彫り入れたオリジナルのホックを使用しています。

Today we would like to introduce the small accessories from the "PORTER TANGO BLACK" series.
This series was released in 2005 to celebrate Yoshida & Co.'s 70th anniversary and is still very popular.
It is in a stripe pattern by applying 2 different kind of weaves by turns; the “Tango Chirimen” (traditional woven fabric from the Kyotango region) and the Plain Weave.
This "Chirimen" fabric is often used in formal wear which is why we have dyed these bags in a color called "Formal Black".
The snap buttons are our original as well, engraving the patterns by laser.
