Q: Do you have partners that you work with to bring to life your ideas? As you are highly innovative, I imagine you are bringing your ideas to your vendors and pushing them to do new things. Do you have advice on how to select partners / vendors and how to go about presenting new ideas for your creations?
A: All of the ideas and design concepts you see in our body of work are exclusively from our imaginations and created in house by our own hands. Each one unique. From sketching a new design to drawing a print to tying a ribbon, we are a small team of talented creative artists who love to consistently push ourselves to innovate for our clients. We call it the art of the possible and make everything from scratch in the USA. Our printers and manufacturers are also a team of talented artisans who partner with us to bring our designs to life on the execution level. We are constantly pushing them to new heights and thankfully everyone I work with shares the same passion to deliver the most amazing, one-of-a-kind, awe inspiring, top quality work we can imagine.
Once a client has signed with us, we create and present our exclusive ideas for them through mood boards, color palettes and concept sketches, each one created after a personalized consultation and many hours of brainstorming with my #TeamCeci. Our #CeciCouture process is very special and highly personalized for our clients around the world.
My advice to selecting the right partners is to do your homework and research who's out there. Call and meet with them. See samples of their work and make sure they can actually deliver to your standards. If the quality is not up to par, move on to the next. It's important to not only get a clear understanding of the quality but how they work as well. If they are a trusted source who you know you can count on then give them a shot!
