Day 24 of my #ChristmasLightDiet - okay so I might have been a little to into my "cheat meal" this weekend. It was only one cheeseburger and two biscuits... but then on Passover I had like 20 Jordan Almonds and sushi the next day. Ok. But! The gym remains a constant, as does eating clean all day. Today... it got me. I came come from set, held out, ate my healthy dinner and an apple... went to the gym and basically was like "I CAN'T FIGHT IT I NEED SOMETHING SWEET!!" And Blanche was like "please let me be!" And Smokey Husky ventured out with my vague yet specific girl request of "no dairy, no gluten and see if you can also find no sugar... but still make it fun and tasty." I figure if I'm gonna have sugar it should be natural and I can at least avoid dairy. 45 minutes later we have 3 pints of coconut ice cream, two watermelon halves, some weird sprouted "cookies" and some actual cookies- none with processed sugar. Today was the first day of this 44 day journey where I was genuinely like "I've done everything I can to stave this off and this is too hard." I just wanted to share the realities of trying something like this with you guys. Whatever, I have Pilates at 8:30am tomorrow and my lunch is already packed. You win this round, Sugar Gods.
