I also visited MAITI Nepal which is a women's and children's shelter for victims of human trafficking and unsafe migration.
Human trafficking has been a big issue in Nepal, and since the 2015 earthquake the problem has risen.
So MAITI Nepal provides medical all attention as well as counseling and rehabilitation homes.
They protect girls and women from any form of abuse, exploitation, neglect and violence. ❤️ 次に、MAITIネパールというNGOにも訪問しました。ここは、人身売買の被害にあった女性や、インドから逃げてきた女性や子どもたちの避難所のようなところです。人身売買は、2015年4月のネパール地震後、さらに増えていて大きな問題となっています。MAITIネパールは、カウンセリングやリハビリテーションなど被害者のためのあらゆるサービスを提供する施設を運営していて、そこで医療も提供しています。施設を視察してみて、MAITIネパールの活動が、ネパールの多くの女の子や女性を虐待、搾取、放置、暴力から守っているのがよくわかりました。
