I remember standing with my mother and father, sister and brother in 1989 outside Anfield. The lines winding in and out of alleyways for hours. To pay our respects. I was too young, 8 years old, how could I understand the enormity of that tragedy then. But I remember noticing something I hadn't seen in the adults around me before - something deeply deeply sad.
