I bought a Bento box from Japan so that I can pack some healthy lunch for hubby since he's been having a back to back meeting day with no lunch time. I made this Obento (lunch box) today and tried to remember what my mom used to make me for 12 years. Yup, public schools in Japan requires to bring these Bento boxes from home since no canteen. Thanks mom for all these years.

日本に帰った時にお弁当箱を買いました。お昼を食べる暇もない日があると聞いたので、主人にと思い。母が12年間作ってくれていたお弁当を思い出しながら作ってみました。母には本当に感謝の気持ちがいっぱい。大したお弁当は作れなかったけど、この時の気持ちを大事にしようと思い、載せます。
