The rope was a little short... on purpose. Normally during a rappel you're hyper conscious of where the end of your rope is, but in Lodrino Canyon half the fun is lowering off the end & free falling into the icy water. The best part of this photo was having to go first, dropping the last 30ft with camera gear preciously packed in a dry bag.
