Next up for our #MuseumInstaSwap at @グッゲンハイム美術館 is Linnea West (@linnea_west). Linnea coordinates the C-MAP Program, MoMA's global research initiative intended to broaden its presentation of art from historically underrepresented areas of the world. She picked El Lissitzky's "Proun (Study for Proun S.K.)" and feels that #Lissitzky's work is "a radical rejection of the representative, in order to provide a visual language for a new world and the very specific political conditions that he was responding to, the idea of an artist having a social function."
