For this installment in #TigersFanFridays, meet Emily. A high-school student in Algonac, MI, Emily says her life revolves around the #Tigers, so much so that she’s called “Mrs. Tiger” at home.
Most of her wardrobe features Tigers shirts, of which she notes she has dozens, and she makes sure she never misses a game. Emily notes she attends TigerFest every year and every autograph signing, where she has had a chance to meet every player but Justin Verlander (but that’s still on the bucket list). Some days, when the Tigers play in the afternoon, Emily will skip school to watch Tigers Live and the game (which, we don’t condone, but we won’t tell anyone). When she makes it to home games, she stays late to wave and greet players after the games. Just two weeks ago, she stayed after the game with her dad, when she says she got to chat with Nicholas Castellanos and take a picture, her favorite Tigers memory.

This year, Emily passed on attending her high school homecoming in order to see Daniel Norris pitch at Comerica Park. And she said she’d make that decision again in a heartbeat.
