Reflecting Tate Etc.’s desire to blend old and new, the cover of the second issue featured a selection of seven images to create a new, visually striking whole. Architect Cedric Price's portrait was superimposed on top of a photo of wrestlers by Collier Schorr; a 19th-century pencil portrait by Augustus John; an image of vandalism at Moscow's Andre Sakharov Museum; an installation by Maurizio Cattelan in Milan; and Thomas Hirschhorn’s Musée Précaire Albinet in Paris.
