. " I am 22 years old and I live in Belfast. I am currently a student at Belfast Metropolitan College, in my 2nd year, working towards a BTEC Diploma. I am a member of Lough Cuan Bowmen Archery Club and GB Archery. I first got interested in archery when I was working towards my Duke of Edinburgh Awards as it was a new sport/skill I got to experience and immediately got a buzz from this. I follow the progress of many archers around the world and even had the chance to personally travel to some championships. This has given me the opportunity to meet and get to know quite a few archers and communicate with them regularly on social media. So far I have travelled to Edinburgh, Istanbul, London, Paris, Lausanne, Copenhagen and Dublin to watch World Archery Championships and Finals. One of the biggest highlights was going to the Olympics in London and watching the archery finals in Lords." "I feel exceptionally lucky to be able to get involved in this sport as I love it and all the friendships I have made through it. I have special needs as I have a diagnosis of autism but this has never been an obstacle for me within the world of archery and I so appreciate that."
