When it comes time to pick our weekly #ShineTheory, we look across all the many, many Instagram feeds that inspire us. Some of them are total strangers to us; others are much closer to home. This week, we’re spotlighting our Fashion Associate’s fab side hustle, @noted_nyc. When Katie Sapp isn’t styling shoots for the mag, she’s hand-illustrating custom stationary for her friends, co-workers, and even industry insiders. “Every individual card has its own unique background true to the story the illustration tells,” Katie says. “During #guccigreeting week each card had a crazy print/pattern/sequin background that gave the post that infamous eclectic Gucci vibe.” She also created a collection for @レベッカテイラー for Valentine’s day. “The fashion industry is an extremely high paced environment to work in. I love the craziness of it all, but sometimes you just need a separate creative outlet to release the stress that comes along with your job.” Katie likes to say she draws every individual card “with love”—and for the Teen Vogue fam that’s lucky enough to receive a @noted_nyc card, we feel it. ❤️ Tag someone whose feed spreads love in a major way! ✨
