Hi everyone. Thanks for showing interest in us and asking all the questions about us in the #askmeanything challenge. A couple of times we were asked how mom can get us sitting in a row. Here's a little video of a training to sit and stay seated for a while. What our mom does looks a lot like clicker training, but without the clicker. All the things she learns us are reinforced by treats, play or rubs. And there's always a hand sign and a word to let us know what we are learning or what we should do. She trained the dogs always like this, and it works on us too. It takes a lot of time...we cats are definitely no dogs! And we all go in our own pace. It helps that we like training and that we only train short time and keeping variations. Mom always closes training with something we're all good at. And after training we mostly eat or play with the feathered rod, sometimes we also go our own way after training. That's how we do it. Do you train with your humans?
