The Cedar Coast Field Station is opening this August on Vargas Island, B.C! Creating an ecological field station in Clayoquot Sound has been a dream of mine for years, and now, with the help of a wonderful staff and board of directors the dream is becoming a reality. Cedar Coast Field Station will facilitate ecological research, host grade school, university and adult education groups, and serve as a model of ecologically grounded living.
