"There are so many things about ultras that keep me coming back. The two things I love the most are the amazing places I get to see and the wonderful people I get to meet along the way. Most of the races I've done have been on stunning mountains or around beautiful lakes. So far, my favorite place has to be the Alps for Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc. This year I also took my first trip to New Zealand and shared that journey with my son and husband. I bring my family with me as often as I can. My husband is my crew at all of my longer races, and my son is just now old enough to stay up for many hours and help out on the course, which is so much fun for me. He's always happy to see me at the aid stations, and it warms my heart to see him. Everyone involved in the sport is so genuine and friendly, and I have made friends for life.  From the race managers, to the volunteers, to the participants, there is such camaraderie and support of one another across all levels that it makes me grateful to be a part of it all."- HOKA Athlete @runboulet #womenwhofly #humansofHOKA #forceofnature
