House of the Day: #Chimney #House by #DeklevaGregorič architects

The striking profile of #ChimneyHouse is informed by a multifunctional #wood #stove that lies at the heart of the #home. A continuous #skylight runs along the length of the roof ridge opening, providing an #uplifting top #light and focus for the centrally aligned layout of the interior.

Located in #Logatec, #Slovenia, the exterior is sympathetic to local architecture but holds a distinctive volumetric identity. It was completed in 2016.
