Water Block. Japanese designer and artist Tokujin Yoshioka is best known for his iconic store design concepts and artworks harnessing light, form and illusion. Pictured here 'Water Block' 2016 during the fine polishing stage. A sculptural bench made from golden brass, created using the casting technique of traditional Buddha statue making that has been passed down generation to generation. The latest in a series since 2002, the original works made from optical glass are permanently exhibited in the impressionist gallery at Musée d’Orsay, Paris.
