15-year-old @francesweger’s dreamy, light-filled pictures capture every possible high school moment—the diner dates, the stolen kisses, the first protests—in electric color. “I think the best word to describe my style is open. I am young, so I am using this time of my life to be exploratory in my work,” the Columbus, OH, native says. Her inspiration comes from her conversations, her friends, art, music, and “what it’s like being a teen in the current political age.” Her subject matter ranges from the topics mentioned above to portraits of her friends, to a period-positive series called “All Girl,” which celebrates menstruation in all its glittery glory. When she’s not creating her photos, she’s getting inspiration from other IGs like @girlgazeproject or @curatedbygirls. “Instagram has made it easy to discover new artists, magazine and styles,” Frances says. “It’s helped me grow and communicate with new photographers.” Finding your community online comes easy when your photos are so exceptional. ?What feeds stand out to you?
