The #?squad taste tested the Chicken Meal With Blueberries Formula sample that @nekononiwa gave us and there was a generally good response: Rochelle and Hermès (not pictured) and a ginger boys were not interested, but the other eight went LOCO - and I have some scratches on my hand to prove it ? I mean, when they liked it they really liked it; William even happily helped himself when I left the bag untended for a moment.
Compared to the Pacific Ocean Fish Meal with Blueberries Formula we tried last week, this flavor doesn't have as strong a smell so the fish is probably a safer option if you're thinking of trying this but your cat is a fussy eater. I should also add that FirstMate has a high protein content (36%), is grain free meaning no fillers and consists of limited ingredients so it's better for kitties with food sensitivies.
We'll continue to sample this flavor over the next few days and I'll look out for any runny stools etc just in case so paws crossed. If all goes fine, we may switch to @firstmatekasikspetfoods for the cats' overall wellbeing but I'd also like to hear your experience, if any.
