One of my favorite organizations in #Boston, @UnitedSouthEnd Settlements, turned 125 last night & we celebrated, naturally! #USES125 ✨?~ my father, #PhilipDushku, was born & raised in the #SouthEnd, a diverse & quite economically poor #immigrant neighborhood in the ❤️ of the city, & programs/services like the ones offered/maintained/evolving at #UnitedSouthEndSettlements really shaped & changed his life. One of them, as many of you know- if you know me, was/is #CampHale (HOOYAH!) & we had a blast supporting & honoring their mission last night..! "To build a strong community by improving the education, health, safety and economic security of low-income individuals and families in Boston’s historic South End/Lower #Roxbury and to serve as a national model of successful neighborhood engagement. ~#USES"
