“All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players.” Unveiled in #London today, a treasure trove of over 1000 precious #books from the collection of renowned #Irish judge William O’Brien. This historic collection includes perhaps the most important works of English Literature of the 17th century, William #Shakespeare’s folios. The books were bequeathed in 1899 to the Jesuit community at #Milltown Park in #Dublin, and will be offered for #auction on Tuesday alongside other landmark works such as #Chaucer’s The Canterbury Tales and Jonathan Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels. #SothebysBooks #WilliamShakespeare
