Link in bio. “I was in Tyre, a town in South Lebanon, during the 2006 Israel – Hezbollah War, when I witnessed the mass exodus from border towns. From the back of a car, this little girl was looking at, or rather through, me, her gaze suspended, aware of my presence but looking away. I only took a couple of frames of this fleeting moment, yet this single image evokes something I’m interested in, photographically-speaking: it depicts a specific moment, a specific person, on a specific day, but it also, I think, resonates with something more universal, something about the condition of being a refugee that echoes beyond the frame.
