"Through our travels we have learned that some of the best destinations are not far from areas easily visited, like the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. We stumbled upon this park while on our way out of town and decided to stay an extra day just to explore it. Getting lost between the towering red monoliths made us feel like we had stepped into another world. We could not believe it was right in Colorado Springs. Travel taught us not to pass up the opportunity to explore nearby, as it has led to some of our favorite spots." - @thebusandus
