It’s pride weekend here in our hometown of @Portland. Each and every day we should treat everybody with love and respect, but Pride Week reminds us to reflect on all of the hardships and triumphs that the LGBTQ community has endured. Here’s a photo from last June when Stonewall Inn was designated a National Monument, our first national monument to tell the story of the struggle for LGBTQ rights. We were honored to be invited to this historic event.

As President Obama said, “I believe our national parks should reflect the full story of our country—the richness and diversity and uniquely American spirit that has always defined us. That we are stronger together. That out of many, we are one.” We agree. #Pride #livemonumental
