"A place for everything and everything in its place." -Benjamin Franklin . . Does anyone else find joy in organizing their favorite tools, treasures and instruments? My mom used to often say that I was a master packer, dishwash rack stacker and had a gift for making things fit in already crammed spaces. So when I first saw the Mod Tablet by @thisisground it was like meeting a long lost friend. I was instantly drawn to the notion that it can be personalized according to my whim, tastes and preferences. I also discovered how it inspires me to think creatively in regards to how I use the compartments and approach organization as a whole. It lets me break the rules in that sense - I can make it anything I want and I love that. It's part of why I am such a bonafide fangirl and have invested in different inserts for it (and I like to mix and match leather colors) for when I'm traveling or going on a road trip, or perhaps for a cafe or park sketch session, or even just to use as part of my desk set-up. So I thought I'd make a time lapse video that shows a few of the different ways I use each insert (I'll list specifics below). It's like my own personal zen garden of sorts. So on that, I hope everyone is having an inspiring and beautiful week so far! And also - what are some of your favorite tools and treasures? I'm always curious about what fellow enthusiasts like to use or carry in their day to day. ? . . Mod inserts used (in sequential order): Pancho insert in charcoal, Traveler's Insert in toffee, Sketch insert in cognac, Bookish insert in toffee. Perfect bound & pocket notebooks and pen case in French Grey also by @thisisground. . . Pen featured: the Model 31 in Purpurae with a Christoph music nib by @franklinchristoph. . . Music by @songsofwater and @ruckusmoped from their The Sea Has Spoken album available for purchase on iTunes. The track is called Mufafa's Kitchen.
