As the magic wears off and we all head back to our desks, emails, calls, meetings, our 18 hour work days and our real lives: I wanted to take a moment of gratitude to say to each of you, to those of you who have dedicated your lives to help others, to those who listen with deep compassion, thank you. ?? Life is indeed a journey and a winding road. It's certainly not magical all the time. We're the ones putting up a fight, daily + paving the way.
Remember when we all put our hands together and they connected back to my heart? After a gnarly week and a long workout today, my instructor made me do the same thing.
I felt each of you with me, inside of my heart with each panting, deep breath.
There are two types of people in this world. Extraordinary and ordinary.
You are the former. Extraordinary people follow a deep, wise and great calling. We fear not, yet we are the most vulnerable of all.
We follow no path, we will create our own.
Thank you for being on the path with me.
You showed me I don't need to play small anymore & I don't need to dim my light for anyone.
May God and the universe continue to look over each of you, and guide your path to greatness.
My extraordinary group of incredibly, wildly and beautifully talented and humbled friends. You're the most impressive group of game changers I have ever grown with, even with that damn drum at 2am. I still love you.
I am here to be.... open + to be brave. I will continue to do so.
