When David Lynch chose me to sing Blue Velvet for the @davidlynchmfa ? a year later or so...John Malkovich recreated the Frank Booth scene while my version is playing on the radio ????? My heart sings when I get to work with David. Him & his work has been a constant light in my life in so many ways. I never understood why people talk about David being dark when all he does is represent light & pure creativity. I've never wanted to be someone else before but he is the only person I would ever aspire to be. This whole world's wild at heart and weird on top. ???
