I spent my early years in Aba but later moved to Lagos where I got into Kings College, Lagos. As a student, I always organized parties and other social gatherings with my friends for profit. While I was not aware at the time that I was going to make a full time business out of this, as a young boy I just loved the fact that I could create an avenue where people could network, I could have fun with my friends and I would still make some extra money from this social venture to put towards something else.
Being both a young party boy and nerd at the same time, I decided to study Medical Laboratory Sciences at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka Campus thinking it was more important for me to study a 'professional' course to enable me secure a white collar job. That was the safer bet and I went with it! Afterwards, I proceeded to the University of Birmingham for my masters degree in Health Economics and began a career in health economics consultancy and teaching shortly after. This entire time, my true passion which was bringing people together to network, partner both socially and professionally, share ideas and live life to the best of our ability was burning deep inside. It got to the point where I could no longer ignore that urge to create something out of what I truly loved! I decided in 2008 to open up Play Lounge and the rest is history!

It was not easy, it was far from a walk in the park. Even till this day, we face challenges every now and then. However to the glory of God I am confident enough to say that Nine years later, Play Lounge remains the oldest elitist club in the whole of Nigeria and is stronger than ever! We have grown from just a night club to a network of over 20,000 people that we can call friends. I am glad and grateful that I followed my dreams and did not settle for any preconceived notion of what or who I ought to be giving my educational background. I decided to take a leap of faith and stir my life into the direction that my MAGIC.
