Tonagi Hostel & Cafe : A stylish hostel and cafe loved by travelers and locals alike

TONAGI Hostel & Cafe is located near Chiyo-Kenchōguchi Station, a ten-minute train ride from Hakata Station. The combined cafe and hostel was opened in May, 2016, in a renovated three story mixed-use building which originally housed a convenience store on the first floor and residences above. The name TONAGI is a combination of the Japanese words for stay, learn, and connect. “I want this to be a place where people from all over the world can come together and interact,” says the owner Ishii-san....
