Your favorite object? "I'm fond of highly personal objects made out of nothing by people that I love. This little shoe measuring just a few centimetres that my father made when he was a child tops the list of these favourite objects, which are almost good luck charms. It dates from 1941 precisely, during the Occupation. I also like it because it illustrates "THE" typical shoe of the period, crafted with quite heavy and solid wooden wedges, which symbolise this troubled time."
