To continue our #FLW150 celebration, we are highlighting the David Wright House (@davidwrighthouse) in Arizona, also designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for his son David and daughter-in-law Gladys. In a sweeping spiral gesture, the house is lifted above the ground, providing a shaded courtyard below and panoramic views of the iconic Camelback Mountain from the main level. To Wright, this design was a discovery of “How to Live in the Southwest,” as he called the house: a prototype for desert living. #FrankLloydWrightFridays
