I went on the most incredible tour of NASA thanks to my cousin Scott Parazynski who is one of the greatest humans in and out of this world. He is an astronaut, Everest summiteer, Doctor, Inventor and one the most creative bad ass human beings I know. He is a veteran of five Space Shuttle flights and seven spacewalks and his latest mission was highlighted by a dramatic, unplanned EVA to repair a live solar array. Oh and he successfully assembled and deployed the International Space Station's $900 million Canadian-built robot arm. He is the only person to have both flown in space and summited Mount Everest, the highest point on Earth. And now he is an author.
