It feels like a Monday so I'm going to sleep in! ?
While I'm sleeping, can you do me a BIG favor? There's a link on my Instagram bio to find a "Cat Friendly" American Association of Feline Practitioners practice.
I'm a cat and I can safely say that all of us cats know that barbarically burning off, slicing off, or chopping off our toes and claws is NOT "Cat Friendly." Yet most AAFP "Cat Friendly" practices do this inhumane and harmful procedure to cats. I think it's false advertising and really disgusting and unethical , don't you think?
So...please go to that link and help me find some "Cat Friendly" practices in your city or state that honor those words and are truly friendly to cats and don't declaw. Catfriendly.com
I only have a few of the no-declaw Cat Friendly practices on my website.?
Just nicely call the "Cat Friendly" practices that you find and ask how much it is for a declaw. Most will probably ask you if you want two or four paws. ?Let them give you a cost of their toe amputations since I can use this info for my research study.
The first two people that find an ethical, no-declaw "Cat Friendly" practice that ISN'T on my list on my website and who also give me two "Cat Friendly" practices prices for their declaws will win one of my awesome photo books! Must be U.S residents.
